Lita Mendes also known as “Tantar” - Former Police Officer of Creighton, Morne Jaloux, St. George, who resided Mt. Gay, passed away on Tuesday 10th May, 2016 at the age of 72

She was the Mother of: Tedgra Mendes and Jennifer Simmons, Sister of: Maureen Xavier, Septimus Mendes of Carriacou and Paul Mendes in the USA, Grand Mother of: Jellon Simmons, Jarron Simmons, Hakera George, Torey George, Winnisha Mendes, Great Grand Mother of: Junior Mendes in the USA

Many Nieces and Nephews including: Trevor and Nigel Xavier, Beatrice Muriel, Kathy-Ann Moses, Martin Mendes, Oscar Scott, Tyronne Xavier, and Andy Lovelace, Mother in law of: Lincoln Simmons, Sister in law of: William “Conqueror” St. Louis and Gloria Mendes

Other relatives and friends including: Felix Baptiste and family in Trinidad, Lessey family of Mt. Funeral Service on Tuesday 24th May, 2016 at 2:00 pm at the St. George’s Berean Bible Church, Upper Lucas Street, St. George’s and Interment at the Morne Jaloux Cemetery
