Swinton Selbie Phillip also known as “Savinie” Featured

Swinton Selbie Phillip also known as “Savinie” of Pembroke Pines, formerly of St George's, Grenada, passed away on Sunday 21st, January , 2018 in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. 

Swinton was born on January 30, 1938 to his loving parents, Doris Julien Creed and Alfred Creed.  

 

He was the beloved husband of: the late Francesca Phillip, devoted father of: Christine J Phillip, Angus Phillip & Ian Phillip, Cherished grandfather of: Francis Hutchinson, Angelica Bess, Angelica Bess & Samson Phillip, Great grandfather of:  Jade & Sade Hutchinson, Dearest brother of: Pura & Sheila Edgehill.  He was one of five siblings. 

 

Swinton moved to Florida in 1977 from Brooklyn, New York and Houston,Texas.  He was the assistant Vice President of the Bank of New York AKA Bank of Grenada.  He enjoyed helping others, his many friendships and traveling.  He also drove double decker buses in London, England. 

 

A celebration of Life Memorial Service on Saturday, February 3, 2018 from 2-5 PM at the Joseph A Scarano Memorial Chapel, 9000 Pines Boulevard, Pembroke Pines, FL.
