Shirley Telesford also known as “Shirlites”, “Sister Shirls” and “Aunty Shirley” - a well-known St George’s Market vendor of Grand Bras who resided in Sab , St Andrew, passed away on Saturday 17th February 2018 at the age of 72.

She is the mother of: Leroy Hosten , Jenitha Fortune Williams, Deslyn , Eddison and Roxy Fortune all in Canada, Moses Fortune in the USA, Glenda Fortune Antoine, Edward Fortune an Immigration Officer, Rachel Fortune Telesford employed with Seon and Associates, Simon Fortune and Tahiera Fortune Thomas an employee at Unicomer Courts G'da Ltd, Grand mother of 25 including: Kevin , Gary, Jordan, Elijah, Shakim, Gennell, Morganne, Trevon , Khadine and Jayden, Great grand mother of 3.

Sister of: Hilda, Decima, Walwin, Reginald and Leo all in Canada, Maudlyn and Martha in the USA , Theresa in England, Telpha, Paul , Theresa, John , Francis, Denis , Joseph , Simon and Juanitha all in Grenada, Mother in law of: Elwin Thomas, Ericer Fortune, Dexter De Coteau, Wayne Louison, John Telesford, Desmond Antoine and Errol Williams, Aunt of many too numerous to mention .
