Our Beloved Jean Brenda Barry, passed away on July 19, 2019 at NY Presbyterian Hospital at age 62. Jean was born on March 20th, 1957 in London, England. 

She was the daughter of Ethel Philbert (Deceased) and Cuthbert J. Barry (Atty at Law). Jean had roots that spanned across the globe. Her early years were spent in Grenada.

She attended primary school at St. Patrick’s Roman Catholic School and secondary school at St. George’s Anglican High School. She later moved back to England where she obtained a Bachelor of Arts, then a Master of Arts in Education, at London University.  She embarked on her career in education by teaching at secondary school in London, England. She spent her later years in the United States as a Real Estate Broker with Multiplex Realty in Brooklyn, New York.
 

Jean was a woman of deep faith and a dedicated and fully committed member of the Brooklyn Tabernacle church.

Left to cherish her memory are her father, Cuthbert J. Barry, step-mother, Julia Barry, Sisters, Gloria Philbert-Samuel and Linda K. Barry, Brother: Kenneth Barry, Nephew: Dex Philbert, Nieces: Rachael Philbert and Raeana Samuel, Great-niece: Sanaa Philbert and Great Nephew, Brandon Philbert, together with many other relatives and dear friends.
 

Funeral services on Friday, July 26th, 2019 at 7:00 PM.at the Brooklyn Tabernacle Church, 17 Smith Street, Brooklyn, NY, 11201

Burial will be close to her mother’s grave at the Putneyvale Cemetery, London, England.
