Matilda Lyris Alexis also known as “Lyris Brathwaite” of Hope, St. Andrew, passed away on Saturday 26th October, 2019 at the age of 85

She was the mother of: Merry also known as “Dolfus”, Merlin also known as “Myrtle” Debra also known as “Meader”, Vera, Lessa and Errol in the USA, Preston and Frances in Grenada, Grand mother of many include: Allen, Alvin, Letisha, Leron, Tynisha, Njisané (Josanie), Nadia, Cheyann, Deslyn, Sybil and Louise, Great grand mother of many including: Karishma, Adaya, Amaya, Bryan, Akayla, Camryn, Carmyn and Denise

Sister of: Dan and Ben in Grenada, Annette, Herbert, Ulin in the USA, Lorna in the UK, David, Jemma and Glenda in Trinidad, Mother in law of: Francis and Margaret, Sister in law of: Joe, Bob and Serena, Many nieces & nephews inc: Marian Raymond, Leslie Ben Jr., Temeka, Step mother of many including: Clair and Claudette

Many other relatives and friends including: the Anglican Congregation of St. Andrew, including St. Giles, Father Marshall, Yvette, Louisa Felix, Jessie Brathwaite, Francis Ruffin, the Brathwaite, Baptiste and Alexis families of Hope, friends and neighbours of Hope and surrounding areas

Funeral service on Tuesday 19th November, 2019 at 1:30 pm at the Grenville Anglican Church, St. Andrew and entombment at the Family Cemetery, Hope
