Barbara Browne nee Pierre of Lowther’s Lane/Archibald Avenue, St. George’s, passed away on December 20, 2019 in El Paso, Texas at the age of 91.

She is survived by her six children: Wayne Pierre, Ian Pierre, Sharon Pierre (Mitchell), Andre Pierre, Gail Pierre-Cox and Patricia Pierre (Toney), One son-in-law, Jasper Cox and one daughter-in-law, Gem Pierre.  She was the proud grandmother of twenty-two grandchildren of which 3 are deceased (Sharice Cox, Dillon Mitchell and Brandon Pierre) and twelve greatgrand children.

Two sisters, Ruby Swindell in New York and Nola Lucas (also known as Nurse Nedd), in Grenada.  Three Brothers, Lennox Browne in New York, Norris Browne in Grenada and Joseph Browne in Tobago. Two sister-in-law's, Jean Browne and Glen Browne.

Many relatives and friends including: the Bullen, St. Bernard and Hanney families of St. Paul's, theThornhill family, Elma Purcel, Leroy Mitchell, Lorna Gentle,  Pastor Walton and family, Pastor Mynard-Reid and family, Chirstian Fellowship SDA, New Haven Temple SDA and Archibald Avenue SDA church families, many other relatives and friends here in the US, Grenada, Canada, Trinidad and England.

Funeral Service on Sunday January 5, 2020 at the New Haven Temple SDA Church.  Viewing will be from 2-3 pm and funeral service at 3 pm.  Repass will be upstairs of the church immediately following the service.

Burial at the Rosehill cemetery in Linden, New Jersey on Monday, January 6, 2020.
