Cuthbert Cummings also known as “Barnes” transitioned on Tuesday May 18, 2020 in Long Island NY. 

He is survived by his sister:  Claudette Samuels; Children:  Michael, Robert, Carolyn, Ian, Sandra, Barbara, Dexter, Gillian;

Father-in- laws of : Gregory and Tony, Gina, Sharon, and Kim. Numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren along with many nieces and nephews, Other relatives and friends

Funeral service in NY and Interment at Canarsie Cemetery, Brooklyn, New York.

Barnes was a well respected father of 8 children and salesman for Central Sales. Cuthbert was also one of Grenada’s best sportsman/athletes. Playing football for Sporting Club, the National football team in 1956, and eventually was selected as the Manager for the Grenada National football team.

Barnes as he was fondly known migrated to NY in 1967 where he lived until his retirement from DeSola Bros. He was driven by his desire to pursue a better life for his family.   After his retirement he relocated to Fredericksburg,VA.  Returning to NY after his beloved wife of 60 years Audrey passed away.  Cuthbert was an engaging personality. He had the ability to make and maintain loyal life long friendships. He was a family man of strong faith, a great historian and very charitable.
