Rev. Melvin Louis Schaper of Troy Missouri who resided in Ochelata, Oklahoma - Founder and first Principal of the St. John’s Christian Secondary School also known as “Schaper”, passed away on Sunday 9th August, 2015 at the age of 94

He was the Husband of: Evlyn, Father of: Nathan, Ruth, Charles, Albert, Stephen, Dorm, Quentin and Kent, Father in Law of: Gary Schenck, Diane, Jeanette, Della, Lavona, Pam and Kelly, Grand Father of 23 including: Bradley, Sharlyn, Sam, Kyle, Neil, Justin and Jordan, Great Grand Father of: 52

Brother of: Irene Bergfield, Many other relatives and close friends including: Althea Nelms, Dr. Paul Schaper, members of the Bible Holiness Churches in the USA & Grenada, Past & Present teachers and Students of the St. John’s Christians Secondary School, friends and neighbours in the USA & Grenada

Funeral service on Saturday 22nd August, 2015 at the Bible Holiness Church, Ochelata, at 10:00 AM.

Graveside services at 4:00 PM at the Mount Hope Cemetery, Independence, KS.

Visitation  on Friday, Aug. 21, 6:00 PM, at the Bible Holiness Church,  Ochelata

A memorial Service on Sunday 1st November, 2015 at the St. John’s Christian Secondary School, Brothers, St. John at 3: 00 pm.

All past students, past teachers, friends and supporters of the St. John’s Christian Secondary School are asked to attend.

A special love offering will be taken up to assist in the furnishing of the auditorium
