Alban Andrew Mitchell also known as “Waist” of Melrose, St. George, passed away on Saturday May 29th, 2021.

Nov. 10th, 1936 - May 29th, 2021

A beloved son, brother, father, uncle, and friend, 'Waist' was very well known and liked throughout the island. He was funny and a joy to be around.
Predeceased by: His son Godwin; parents Philington 'Tan' and Maggie 'Tanty' Mitchell; and siblings Helen, Vanita, Carlton, Lucille, Agnes, Elizabeth, Vincent, Sheila, and Victor.

He is survived by his sisters: Jean Mitchell of Grenada and Janet Penny of Canada.

He will be missed by his many nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.

Due to COVID-19 restrictions, a private memorial service  at Bernardo Funeral Home (2960 Dufferin St., Toronto, ON) on Saturday June 5th, 2021 at 3:00 pm.
