Lester John Praddy-Sam also known as “Punka” Featured

Lester John Praddy-Sam also known as “Punka”, originally of Cornet’s Walk, Gouyave, St. John and resided at Brizan, St. George, passed away on Monday, 20th September 2021 at the age of 72. He was a retired Stevedore and Lines Man at the Grenada Ports Authority.

Left to mourn are his:

Wife: Agatha, also known as ‘Stella’

Daughters:Claire Sylvester, also known as ‘Ansay’, and Candice Drakes – both residing in the U.S.A, Stepson: Clyde Campbell, also known as ‘Sam’ and his adopted son: Rudolph Superville

Siblings: Eileen ‘Enez’ Sam and Mystica Lewis in the U.K., and Lillian Ferguson in Grenada

12 grandchildren including: Corey, Kristal, A.J., and Josiah

32 nieces and nephews including: Catherine Joseph and Carlos ‘Pecos’ Lewis; Sonia Ferreira, Jay, Janelle, Zeno and Jadine Ferguson; Maureen, Margaret, Marva & Jennifer Sam; Allin, Veronica, Matthew and Anderson Sam; Wilton, Wilma and Wilbert Sam; Suzy, Quinta, and Lauriston Francis

81 grandnieces and nephews including: Odette Sam, Delroy Wilson & Shane Joseph in Canada; Achebe & Tasheba Sam in the US; Vondel Noel in Trinidad; Reecè Sam, Romero, Dorien Williams, Trisha Tampaie, Keisha Cox, Michael Wickham & Ethan Sam in Grenada

32 great grandnieces and nephews, Sons-in-law: Rodney Sylvester and Geoffrey Drakes, Brothers-in-law: Alwyn Ferguson of Gouyave, Denis Superville, and Wilson Charles in the U.S.A., and his sister-in-law: Sandra Alexandra of Beausejour.

A Memorial Service on Wednesday 23rd March, 2022 at 1:30pm atThe Cathedral of Immaculate Conception, Church Street, St. George’s and entombment of the Ashes at the St. George’s Center Cemetery
