The family is heartbroken to announce the tragic passing of Mrs. Germaine Duncan, age 93 and her son Mr. Nicholas Duncan, age 60. Both passed away on March 2nd, 2022 at their home in Madeys, St. Patrick’s. They are pre-deceased by their husband and father, respectively, Reverend Deacon Franklyn Duncan.
They are survived by the children and siblings, respectively, as follows: John Duncan, Anne Roberts, Martha Harry, Ryan Duncan and June Powers, in the United States and United Kingdom
Sisters and aunts, respectively: Mrs. Shirley Robinson in Grenada, Mrs. Agnes Munro in the United States, Mrs. Sylvia Regis in Venezuela and Mrs. Marvis Murray, in Canada,
Mrs. Duncan’s loyal, and devoted caretaker, Judith and her husband, Isaac Gunpot.
They are also survived by grandchildren and nieces and nephews, respectively: Andrea Viechweg, Richard Roberts, Marvin Duncan, Daniel Duncan, Kasheena Roberts, Shona Sawicz, Jaelyn Downer, Nathan Sawicz, Gina-Marie Duncan, Kaithlyn Duncan and Sophia Duncan, living abroad, as well as Richard Mitchell, Keron Richardson in Grenada and Sheldon Howell in Guyana and many great grandchildren.
Other family members include sons-in-law and brothers-in-law respectively, Lincoln Roberts, James Powers and Errol Harry, Daughters-in-law and sisters-in-law, respectively, Anaris Duncan, and Christina Duncan, as well as Raulda Duncan and the rest of the Duncan family.
Additional family members include Fred Belfon, the Robinson family including Ron and Emon Robinson, the Alexis family in Grenada and in the USA including Andre and Chris Regis and Anne Alexis, the Mitchell family, including Yolande and Caroline Mitchell and the Peter’s family, including Elizabeth Forsyth in St. John’s and Cecil Peters in Canada.
Good friends including: Joycelyn and Hansen Raeburn. Mrs. John, Mrs. Gordon, Mrs. Steele, members of the Legion of Mary and the Roberts family of Mt. Parnassus, and many other family and friends too numerous to mention.
Funeral service on Friday, March 18th, 2022 at 10:00am at the St. Patrick’s Roman Catholic Church and interment at the St. Patrick’s Roman Catholic Church Cemetery.
