Veronica Welcina Louison also known as "Viking" and "Pundit" Featured

Veronica Welcina Louison also known as "Viking" and "Pundit" of Marigot, St. John, who resided in Brooklyn, New York, departed this world on Monday, June 20, 2022, at the age of 90.

Veronica was born on July 19, 1931.

She was the daughter of the late Rose and Wells Henry: Wife of: Joseph Legar Louison, who preceded her in death. She attended Grand Roy Government school and the Roman Catholic school in Gouyave. Veronica worked as a Seamstress and Market Vendor before migrating to the United States on September 23, 1977.

She left behind to cherish her memories, her children:Francis Cecil Mandley-Henry, Lynette Louison-Wellington, John Louison, Sherron McIntyre, June Maria Louison, Vernon Clemore Louison (Deceased), Hutton Louison, Lawrence Kenny Louison, Jacintha Wilson, Hennesy Louison, Kinsandra Louison-Sylvester, and Errol La Touche (Stepson).

Her sister:Catherine Murray and family of River Road, St. George.

Grand Children: Ryan, Cecil Jr., Simone, Shawn, Keisha, Quenton, Clifton (Cheddy), Denel, Connelia, Portia, Boabdil, Boabdul, Tasha, Jamie, Shelda, Rollda, Kareem, Akeisha, Kemelon, John Jr., Tamara, Kylene, Damian, Kristoff, Keyshawn, Jayden, Harold Jr., Jelisa, Hennesie, Zion, and Princess. 28 Great Grandchildren, and 2 Great Great Grandchildren.

Many daughter-in-laws, son-in-laws, niece-in-laws, nephew-in-laws, family, and friends in the United States, England, Canada, Trinidad, and Grenada.

Veronica was loved unconditionally and well respected. She will be deeply missed.

Funeral Viewing and Mass on Friday, July 1, 2022: Viewing from 5:00PM - 7:00PM and Mass from 7:00PM – 9:00PM at St. Matthew R.C. Church, 1123 Eastern Parkway, Brooklyn, NY 11213.

Funeral Service prior to burial on Saturday, July 2, 2022, at 10:00 AM at Caribbean Funeral Service, 1152 Nostrand Avenue, Brooklyn, NY 11225. Interment will follow at Canarsie Cemetery, 1370 Remsen Ave, Brooklyn, NY 11236.

    You were more than a mother you were an angel the love you carry for your children was immensely you are what every young child should experience your kiss on the forehead your $20 each grand kid gets after visiting the steam fish and cou cou my least favorite but could not say a word I’ll be wearing dentures,,,the respect you show us ,,,the struggle and you never gave up we wanted for nothing...our greatest regrets you never see our accomplishments we applaud you for being you the best of the best you will surely be missed we love you to the heavens and back muahhhhhhh
