Cynthia Benjamin of Upper Capitol, St. Andrew, passed away on Saturday, October 1, 2022 in Montreal, Quebec, Canada.

Cynthia was born in Upper Capitol, St. Andrew’s, in Grenada on November 1, 1938.    She was the daughter of Rita Benjamin (deceased); she had two (2) brothers: Godwin & Norris (deceased) and one (1) sister Eslyn.

Cynthia attended Birch Grove R. C. School.  After finishing elementary school, she went to work in St. Georges.

She came to Canada in 1960 as a domestic worker.  While working at the Montreal General Hospital, Cynthia took a course as a Dietary Technician at Vanier College. Following this she then was employed at the Montreal General as a Dietary Technician for over forty years.

She leaves to mourn her brother:Godwin, Sister: Eslyn, Brother-in-law: Ruben Renwick, her niece: Cynthia Gittens and family, nephew: Roger and other nieces and nephews and family.

Cynthia was a good and caring sister to all her siblings.  Rest in Peace Dear Sister.

She has been a long-standing member of this church.
