Joan Abraham also known as “Aunty Joan” of Grand Roy, St. John, a past member of the Legion of Mary, Mother’s Union, and Prayer Group, passed away on Monday October 3rd, 2022, at the age of 101.
Left to mourn are her Children: Carl, Nordica, and Lawrance in the USA, Jacqueline and Gemma in Grenada. Adopted children, Francis and John Abraham in USA. Ian, Oril, Jimmy and William AKA Wise, Gordon Andrew AKA Jacko in Grenada. 19 Grandchildren, 26 Great Grand and 2 Great Great Grand.
One sister: Bernadette Jaffier in USA. Daughter in law: Meryl Holder, Sons in Law: Callista Huggins in St. Vincent and Patrick Moore in Grenada.
Many nephews and nieces including: Annmarie in Trinidad, Sherwin Lorrainey, Agnes Julien, and Ian Jaffier in USA, Paul in UK, Bernard Lorrainey, Lester James, and Ann Wilson in Grenada., Caregivers:Dr. Jude Antoine, the nurses and staff of Grand Roy and Gouyave Medical Centers.
Other relatives including: the Abraham family of Grand Roy and Gouyave, Castillo family of Gouyave, Norma Hackett and family, Balthazar, and Ventour families of Grand Roy, Langaigne and Augustine families of Grand Roy and Concord, and the Moses family of Carriacou. Close friends including: Elaine Moses in UK, Rhonda McEwen, Yvette Modeste, Germaine Duncan and family in Grenada.
Funeral Service on Thursday 27th October, 2022 at 1:00 pm at the Christ the King Catholic Church, Grand Roy, St. John and Interment at the Family Cemetery, Grand Roy
