Oneale Ogiste of Victoria, St. Mark who resided in the USA, passed away on Saturday, February 4th 2023 at the age of 84
Oneale Ogiste, age 84, passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 4th 2023. He was born May 7th 1938 in Victoria, St. Marks Grenada to Joseph (Sajou) and Eurice Ogiste. In his early years, he studied auto mechanics to which he excelled in his field giving him the opportunity to teach at St. John’s Christian Secondary School also known as “Shaper School ''. Despite his passion for auto mechanics, his prized possession was his mobile cinema showing the best films islandwide. His other business ventures included trucking and transportation services with his prized “Victoria Pride''. He played an instrumental part in the community and the lives of many in Waltham/River Sallee. Oneale later migrated to NY, USA in 1984 continuing his auto mechanic business.
