Lionel Wharwood M.B.E also know as “Brother Lio” and “Sir” of Chantimelle, St. Patrick, passed away on Saturday 11th February, 2023 at the age of 94

He was the brother of: Roy Cuthbert John and Myrtrude Aberdeen both in England

Uncle of: Iona Ferrol in England, Yvonne John-Mahon and Michelle Benjamin in the USA, Lynette and Larry Aberdeen and Carol John in England, Grand uncle of many incl.: Nathan, Kieran, Byran, Ashley, Lauren, Kristina and Melissa, Uncle in law of: Everton and Steve

Many God children incl.: Saranna Patterson, Lindy Jeffrey, Brent Joseph, Robert Farray, Alicia Morin, Sheba Jeffrey and Terrell Dubois, His care givers: Staff at the St. Martin Home for the Aged

Many other relatives and close friends in the USA, England, Canada, Venezuela and Trinidad including: Anna John and family, Marjorie Wharwood and family, Vince, George Philip and family, Stephen Phillip, Yvette Beharry, Greta Franklin, Mr. Robinson, Hezzy, Neathy and Cosmos Bonaparte, the Chantimelle Roman Catholic Church Community, friends and neighbours of Chantimelle, Marli and surrounding areas

Funeral Service on Wednesday 8th March, 2023 at 1:00 pm at the St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, Sauteurs and Interment at the Churchyard Cemetery
