Stephanie Baldeau-Francis also known as “Myrtle” Featured

Stephanie Baldeau-Francis also known as “Myrtle”, 63, raised in Grenada and living in New York, passed away May 15, 2023 on with her family by her side.

She was born to the late Eric (Ignatius) Baldeau and Christlyn (Shirley) on September 1, 1959, in Post Royal, St. Andrews, Grenada. She attended St. Giles Anglican School and emigrated as a teenager to Canada in 1976. She lived for several years in Ottawa and spent most of her adulthood in Brooklyn, New York.

Stephanie leaves behind by her husband, John David Francis of Brooklyn and two children: Robert Shears and Byron (Anna) Shears of Ottawa. She is survived by her Mother, Shirley Pysadee (nee Mason) of Post Royal; Sister: Sharon (Raphael) Harford; Brothers: Aaron Baldeau of Florida, Hollis (Charlene) Baldeau of Ottawa and Dexter (Margaret) Baldeau of Ottawa; Aunts: Olive Mason of New York, Norma Mason of Post Royal, Jennifer (George) Griffith of Pickering and Linda Joseph of Toronto; Uncles: Renolph (Glemma) Mason of Tuilleries and Lenny Edwards of London. Left to mourn are also many beloved family members and friends from Canada, Grenada, and the United States.

A viewing on Thursday, June 1st, 2023 at 10:00 am at the Flatbush Seventh-Day Adventist Church, followed by the Funeral service. Interment after the service at the Cypress Hills Cemetery in Queens, New York.
