Melissa Woodroffe passed away on April 16th 2016 in The Bronx, New York at the age of 23
Melissa woodroffe got her wings on Saturday April 16th 2016 to be with her creator. Melissa was born on July 2nd 1992 to her lovely parents Anthony “ Martin” Woodroffe and the late Claudia Woodroffe.
As a young child, Melissa was interested in music, dancing and baking. While in Thomas Jefferson high school Campus, Melissa acquired the skill of dancing and mastered it. She later joined Aspire 2 dance where she continued to excel in one of many ventures.
Melissa also was a great steel pan player and instructor she spent many years playing for Harmony Steel Orchestra, she played as captain for many years in steel band competition and also in important places as Avery Fisher Hall.
Melissa meet her companion Nathaniel while in high school, from their union they brought into this world a wonderful daughter Sjonella.
She left to mourn her grandfathers: Anthony Alleyne and Theophilus Haynes. Nieces of many in Grenada and USA including: Father Carl Haynes, Susan Gibbs, God mother & Godfather: Casandra “Judy” lewis-Renaud and Ralph Francois, Many cousins other relatives and friends in Grenada and USA, not to forget her partners in crime the stooges Samantha and Camille.
Funeral Service on Friday April 29th 2016 at St. Matthews Roman Catholic Church 1123 Eastern Parkway Brooklyn New York 11213.
Viewing from 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM, Mass at 7:00 PM
Cremation on Saturday April 30, 2016 at the Greenwood Crematory Brooklyn, New York.
